2026 promises to be a milestone year for the British rock trio Tigercub. Their new album, *Nets to Catch the Wind*, is garnering an overwhelmingly positive response, and the accompanying tour has all the makings of a triumph. Since forming in 2011, the band has established a reputation as a formidable force in contemporary rock, impressing audiences on their own international tours as well as during performances alongside acts like Royal Blood, Porno For Pyros, and Clutch, and at renowned festivals such as Reading, Leeds, and Louder Than Life. Following the success of *The Perfume of Decay* (2023), Tigercub continue their unique trajectory with *Nets to Catch the Wind*. Their sound blends the tension and ambition of bands like Muse, Royal Blood, and Queens of the Stone Age, yet remains unmistakably their own.
In November, Tigercub will showcase their new songs live. Recorded largely live over nine days at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales—home to iconic recordings by Queen, Rush, and Oasis—*Nets to Catch the Wind* captures Tigercub in their most intense and unbridled form. The raw chemistry between singer/guitarist Jamie Hall, bassist Jimi Wheelwright, and drummer James Allix shines through in every note, resulting in an album that feels both immediate and transcendent. Produced by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Ghost, Pixies), the trio delivers a sound that is expansive and multifaceted, exploring dynamics, space, and emotion with greater depth than ever before. Stone Gossard—Pearl Jam guitarist and co-founder of Loosegroove Records—played a pivotal role in the band's creative development, supporting Tigercub throughout the recording process.
