History that is still being written

The first edition of Prague Music Week, which took place on 9—11 November 2023 at the National House in Smíchov and the associated Futurum Music Bar, was attended by a total of 2,500 people. The programme of the music conference focused on digital music distribution, the use of artificial intelligence and public support for culture.

In addition to Czech music professionals, there were a number of international panelists (e.g. Fiona Bloom, USA), but the conference also included workshops for emerging artists and meetings of professional music associations. Visitors were treated to showcasing concerts by rising stars of the Czech and international scene (e.g. Ireland's KhakiKid, Bristol's Girls Don't Sync) and the first edition also included a technology fair, where Czech innovative companies operating in the music industry presented themselves.
