And we’re starting with you. You can now nominate your favourite Event of the Year 2026. Was it a concert show, festival, music showcase, special music project, performance, or simply a night you’ll never forget? Nominate it on our social media channels – just comment with the name of the event and, ideally, the organiser or artist.
You can nominate events that took place between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026. The nominations will then be shortlisted for a public vote, where you will decide the winner.
What awards will be presented this year?
The Prague Music Week Awards 2026 will feature a total of nine categories. Most of them will be decided by a professional jury made up of music industry professionals, journalists, representatives of professional organisations and collective management organisations.
The professional jury will evaluate:
- Music Club of the Year
- Next Generation – Personality Under 25
- Music & Brand – Collaboration of the Year
- Innovation of the Year
- Social Responsibility Award
- W4W – Outstanding Woman in the Music Industry
- OAZA – Best Sound Design of a Czech Recording 2026
- OOA-S – Visual Identity of the Year
The Event of the Year, on the other hand, will be decided by the public through an online vote.
Who will take home an award this year?
The professional jury will first select from the nominations and then choose from the finalists. Voting will take place in two rounds during October, with the professional jury’s voting closing on 30 October 2026. The results will be officially announced during the gala evening on 4 November 2026.

Prague Music Week Awards 2024
The first edition of the Prague Music Week Awards honoured outstanding achievements in the Czech music industry in 2024. The professional public - members of associations such as the Festival Association FESTAS, the Czech Association of Festivals ÄŚAF, the Association of Authors and Performers SAI, the boards of OSA and INTERGRAM, BACH, MMF, music publicists and others - voted in seven categories. The fans voted for the best music event of 2024.
